Ocean City Maryland is a thriving vacation resort town, originated in the 1900’s. It is a family oriented town, offering 10 miles of free and clean beaches, a long boardwalk, amusement parks, water parks, shopping, and surfing. Ocean City is part of a large chain of barrier islands stretching along the east coast. To the west of the city is a freshwater bay and to the east is the Atlantic Ocean.
Ocean City’s tourism website is www.OCOcean.com which describes things to do and see. Also see www.nps.gov/asis for information onAssateague Island StatePark which is nearby. Ocean City’s activities include golfing, fishing, shopping, boardwalk, and 2 amusement parks as well as special activities (SunFest, Bonfires on the Beach, Craft Shows, etc) and a plethora of restaurants specializing in a range of fare from pizza and sandwiches to steak and seafood. The Ocean City Convention Center hosts a wide range of activities throughout the year. The Ocean City Factory Outlets are located on Rt 50 (the southern most exit to the mainland).
There are publications in unit listing grocery stores, pizza places, liquor stores, and other shopping information. There is also a binder for comments. Please put in your own opinions about restaurants, bars, nightlife, and shopping so others can benefit from your experiences.
The Ocean City Buses run during the summer 24 hours a day, between 2 and 6 times an hour depending on time of year. The fee to ride is $2/day for an all day pass (cash or tickets only). The buses run from the Inlet to the DE Line. The Boardwalk Tram is $3. per person, per ride. Bikes can be rented at several stores. The complex is located oceanfront on 70th Street just off of Atlantic Avenue, Ocean City, MD. The unit is on the third floor of a 30 unit, 5 floor masonry building, with a key–access elevator. A private parking lot is located behind the building, with one designated parking spot and adjacent overflow parking. EastWinds is located a few blocks north of the Rt 90 access to Ocean City.
This unit is oceanfront and air–conditioned and sleeps up to five people. A furnished, private balcony overlooks the beach, and is accessed through sliding glass doors in the main room. The condo’s decor is bright and beachy, is nicely furnished and fully equipped, and has ceramic tiled kitchen/baths. DVD & CD players, and a 42" flat–screen TV with cable are available for your enjoyment. This unit is non–smoking and tenants’ pets are not permitted according to the condo by–laws.

Reservations & Rates
Saturday & Sunday traffic is extremely heavy during the summer season, as the DE shoreline and two Ocean City, MD bridges (Rts 50 & 90 Bypass) are the only highways in and out of the resort. To ease your travels, we now are accepting 2011 reservations for full weeks (Fri–Fri or Mon–Mon), mini–weeks (Mon–Fri), and mini–weekends (Fri–Mon). Check–in is 2:00pm, and Check–out is 11am, unless authorized by owner. During the summer season, a 3–night minimum rental is required.
Rates from Memorial Day through Labor Day are:
"Shoulder Season" (months of May and Sept) rates are $135./night with a 2–night minimum.
Holiday weekend reservations (Memorial Day, July 4th, and Labor Day) are $50. extra, with a 3–night minimum, unless part of a 7–night stay. As usual, all taxes and fees are included in all quoted rates. Lower "Off-Season" (October through April) rates are available upon request, with a 2–night minimum.
